Scam Description
I just received a very formal letter advising my company review was due and payment was required. I went to paid it and thought "I'm sure my Accountant does my company review". Anyway, long story short, i wasn't sure about this reminder letter at first. They may indeed provide this service but i think i'm going to stick with my accountant. How could people pay $449 for something like this? I am going to ask how much my accountant charges.

"I just received the exact same letter in the mail. I have no idea who this company is or how they got hold of my business details. If you're on the fence, do yourself a favor and read their marketting letter properly before paying anything.
Registration
Registration / Registration Pty Ltd is a third-party business and company service provider. It sends out marketing correspondence to Australian companies and businesses offering help to renew their business name or perform their statutory annual company review. The marketing correspondence issued to Australian companies and businesses are set out on Registration’s letterhead and include on the front page the following statement: “This is not a bill, you do not have to pay, we are independent of ASIC”. Registration’s marketing correspondence explains it is a private company providing business name renewal and company review services. Registration is aware there are some people who don't want to receive their marketing correspondence or engage our services. They action all "opt-out" requests submitted at www.reg.com.au/do-not-contact. Registration does not rely on Google Reviews, or any other Review website where competitors can publish unlimited fake-bot-reviews or a few disgruntled people, who don't like their marketing, can complain about their marketing, yet completely understand Registration is a third-party private company, as the complainers admit they don't engage the services of Registration. This website is owned and controlled by the same people who own and control Registration Pty Ltd. This website (scam.com.au) and (scamalert.com.au) is built in the public interest to help expose real scams.

this has been shown on other sites to not be a scam, but still annoying if you don't like getting reminder letters.
